GWCU Christmas and New Year opening hours

Here are our opening hours over the Christmas and New Year.  During this busy period, the member portal is the best way to manage your account and get in touch. If you haven’t yet registered, follow our step-by-step guide to get started.

Christmas opening hours 

Friday 23 December 

Phonelines and email enquiries close at 12.30pm

All payment requests to be received by 1.30pm. After 1.30pm payments won’t be processed until the next working day, 28 December. 

Bristol and Stroud Branches close at 1pm.  

Please note, the Bristol branch will close permanently after this date. See our update for further details. 

Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day 

CLOSED

Tuesday 27 December (Bank Holiday)

Wednesday 28 to Friday 30 December 

Phonelines open as usual.

Payments on 30 December must be requested by 3.30pm. After 3.30pm payments won’t be processed until the next working day, 3 January.
